In this position you will get opportunity to lead the Policy and Market Access Strategy for our Human Health Organization by partnering with department Leads, Regional Stakeholder, important association bodies while working and coaching a talented team.

Maintaining, improving and promoting a positive image of our company in front of Health Authorities, Payers, Key Decision Makers and Political Bodies.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Recognizing the most important clients, developing, maintaining and improving professional relationships with Key Decision Makers at the Ministry of Health, the National Health Fund, Key Opinion Leaders etc.

  • Active participation in reimbursement negotiations with the Ministry of Health;

  • Identifying needs, initiating and undertaking actions necessary to promote our company’s image and products.

  • Ensuring effective cooperation with other functions of the company on local and regional level including business units, marketing, finance, commercial and medical department.

  • Taking a leadership role in the efforts to command units of the Association regarding the establishment of prices and the reimbursement environment.

  • Following important governmental and competitive events that may have an impact on pricing and reimbursement policy.

  • Compliance with the Internal Regulations, internal operating procedures applicable in our firm, company standards, the ARPIM code and all relevant Romanian laws and regulations.

  • Conduct the recruitment process for team members (interviews, hiring) and ensures the efficient integration of the new employee through onboarding.

  • Evaluates the performance of team members and applies corrective measures when necessary.

  • Provides permanent coaching and feedback and identifies development opportunities for team members as well as personal ones.

  • Coordinates the performance management process for the team.

You should apply if you have:

  • University degree – in international affairs & policies, legal or medical field, but not limited to this fields

  • Experience in working in a political organization, preferably in a political secretariat, Parliament, ministry, governmental body, public affairs,consulting company or pharmaceutical company. Public policy experience in diverse industries is an advantage

  • Experience in the Romanian pharmaceutical industry.

  • Knowledge of Romanian and European legislative policies for the health environment.

  • Strategic thinking and ability to quickly translate strategy into tactics

  • Strong leadership, coaching and problem-solving skills

  • Strong and sound ethical platform in line with our Company’s core values

  • Self-motivated and team player, with a great ability to promote growth mindset within the team and outside of it

  • Highly skilled communicator with ability to network effectively both internally and externally

  • Competent in English at a high level - spoken & written.

  • Good PC knowledge.
