THE OPPORTUNITY
This full-time Pick and Pack Logistics Team Member position is responsible for ensuring all warehouse duties are completed in a timely manner. This is a day shift position with hours of work typically 7am-4pm, but we can be flexible around the exact work hours to fit in the right person. Based in Whakatu and reporting to the Day shift Team Leader, this is an excellent opportunity for an organised, highly process driven and detail orientated person to join our close-knit team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Picking and packing of outward goods
- Helping with processing inward goods
- A variety of other duties as and when required such as basic manufacturing tasks
ABOUT YOU
Ideally you will have experience in a warehouse environment, however full training will be given. What is important for us is that you are self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team
have a high attention to detail, can follow instructions to a T, are happy to be doing generally the same tasks each day and can maintain a clean and ordered workspace.
To be successful in the role you will be:
- Forklift experience (ideally a current forklift license)
- Full and clean driver’s license
- Competent using Microsoft Word/Excel
- Physically able to lift containers weighing up to 25Kg
- Able to follow process steps and be quality focused
- Previous warehouse and logistics experience would be an advantage
